Beginners French – Level 1
Learning
Many people have asked for a class to start or renew their love of the French language and start to prepare them for our Intermediate class or for travel to France and/or French speaking countries (in the future).
This class is for those with no French at all. You will learn basic verbs, greetings, numbers and selected vocabulary with a strong focus on speaking and listening. It is not suitable for students with some basic French, even at high school level.
You May Achieve
A larger French vocabulary with better pronunciation and some grammar skills. Increased ability to understand spoken and written French.
Instructor – Dr Laurent Boulanger
Native French speaker, Monash University Level III French language certification & qualified tertiary educator.

Beginners French – Level 2
Learning
Many people have asked for a class to start or renew their love of the French language and start to prepare them for our Intermediate class or for travel to France and/or French speaking countries (in the future).
This class is for students with some basic French knowledge, such as high school or Beginners French Level 1. Focus is on speaking and listening with extended vocabulary, including adjectives and adverbs.
You May Achieve
A larger French vocabulary with better pronunciation and some grammar skills. Increased ability to understand spoken and written French.
