This introductory workshop is designed for the beginner. Enjoy the process as you learn about colour, lines and shapes. You will also explore different watercolour and acrylic tips, tricks, and techniques. The whole process is designed to help you grow in confidence whilst expressing yourself.

Intermediate Collage Art is a perfect art medium for self-expression, to reawaken your creativity and nurture your imagination. You will learn about monoprinting to create spontaneous patterns, the power of black and white imagery, typography, and stitching to enhance your artwork.

Combine two art mediums to create bespoke, yet functional art. You will learn how to combine the colour and texture of watercolour paintings, along with string art to create individually personalized gift tags and cards to celebrate those special and memorable occasions with family and friends. All materials are provided.

Peta Henshelwood – Bio

Peta Henshelwood has a Bachelor of Education (1992-1995), and Certificate of Counselling for Education Professionals (2021-2022), from the University of Tasmania, and completed a Personal Development and Self-Healing through Art course in 2022. She is currently in her 28th year of teaching, having taught in: Pre-School and Primary Schools in Victoria, International School in Norway, the Philippines, Japan, China, along with one-to-one and Small Group Tutoring, Curlewis, Victoria, Australia.

Peta is the founder, educator, and director of TIME2 Active8 with the aim to provide creative solutions to enhance social, emotional, and educational wellbeing throughout the local community! She is studying Art Therapy throughout 2023. Peta understands how difficult the last few years have been on everybody. Her workshops aim to empower people to engage in self-care and discover new ways to interact with their thoughts and feelings. We are all unique human being with an amazing number of skills and talents. Sometimes we just need to be reminded of how very special we are!
