Here are some suggestions of snacks/ lunches to provide for your child to bring along to each session at SpringDale child care.
Suggestions for you to prepare for your child that are healthy and nutritious. All cut up into small bite size pieces and age appropriate.
An added extra could be a small amount of dip for the veggies.
Other snacks – small amounts of
Rice cake with a suitable spread
Make sure they are inviting and ready to eat
Sandwiches – using whole meal bread is best
Vegemite and cheese
Cheese and ham
Avocado and cheese
Or other toppings you know your child will enjoy.
Wraps – a good way to start your child to eat healthy
Grated cheese, carrot and lettuce makes a great start.
Water is the best drink to give your growing child. It hydrates and keeps your child healthy.
We keep our facility safe for children that may have allergies
Please do not bring nuts, peanut butter or eggs to child care.
