Talking About Autism Group

Louise Schmidt
Mother and Autism advocate

At the age of 15 my daughter was diagnosed with autism and life changed. Re learning everything about each other has been a challenge but incredibly rewarding. She’s taught me so much about life of the spectrum and the way she experiences it so differently to others.
Every day I learn something new about her and autism that id never expect and the more I learn the more I want to help her and others alike.
Each month we run an autism support group where people are welcome to come along and talk about their experiences and strategies with autism.

Learning

This is a time for sharing helpful and practical information for people interested in the Autism spectrum.  Those that attend have a real interest in the autism spectrum as they may:
* be a person on the spectrum
* live with a person on the spectrum
* teach / work with people on the spectrum.

You May Achieve

Valuable information you can pass on and learn the latest ideas relating to the autism spectrum.  Be better able to assist people on the autism spectrum.
